Co-ed Carbine (AR15) Fundamentals
This course is designed for beginners seeking to become safe and proficient in the fundamentals of carbine (AR15) shooting.
This is a 50/50 (interactive classroom / range live fire) course where we will go over the parts, functions and controls of the rifle. You will get hands-on practice in the disassembly, cleaning and maintenance of your AR15 during the first hour and a half of this course. Next we will dig into connection points, ready positions, economy of motion, recoil management, reloads, malfunction clearing and more.
The live fire portion of this class will be conducted at our outdoor range so please dress accordingly. We will have some heaters on the range to warm up.
WHERE: Classroom and Range address will be sent out one week prior to the scheduled class.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Carbine
100 rounds of ammunition for your carbine
Sling
AR cleaning kit
2 Magazines minimum
At least one mag pouch or pocket to stow spare magazine
Eye Protection
Ear Protection
Layers and gloves recommended
Pen and Paper
Water and Lunch
