Flathead Firearm Handling is proud to offer the first and only professional strength and conditioning program that incorporates pistol and rifle marksmanship training in the Flathead Valley.

Live Fire Range Days Covering Firearms Fundamentals, Movement, Target Transitions, Reloads and much more
Tactical Workout & Shoot Days Designed to Simulate stages from the Tactical Games

Workouts can be completed on your schedule at your preferred gym.
Weekly range training: Wednesdays 5:30pm & Some Sundays at 3:00pm
*New members will also receive private firearm lessons and dryfire drills to ensure a solid baseline with weapon systems, clearing procedures and shooting fundamentals necessary for the program.
Gear Requirements:
Positive attitude and resilience
Semiautomatic Pistol chambered in 9mm
Outside the waistband holster
AR platform rifle chambered in .223/5.56 with a sling
Eye Protection
Ear Protection
Ammunition for live fire range days (50-100 rounds per week)
Additional equipment is required if you choose to participate in The Tactical Games Regional Events (We’ll cover this in detail during the onboarding process)
*Gear requirements, ammunition, competition enrollment fees and travel expenses are not included in this program.

This course provides the legal, safety, and practical knowledge required to apply for the Montana Enhanced Concealed Weapon Permit, which allows expanded concealed carry privileges and reciprocity with additional states. The course emphasizes lawful firearm ownership, safe handling, use-of-force decision-making, and responsible concealed carry.
Course Breakdown: 80% Classroom, 20% Live Fire
Prerequisites:
* Must be legally eligible to possess firearms
* Government-issued photo ID
* Personal handgun, 100 rounds of ammunition, holster, eye & ear protection
Upon successful completion, students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate safe handling and operation of a handgun
2. Understand Montana firearm and self-defense laws
3. Explain the legal responsibilities of concealed carry
4. Understand use-of-force principles and justified self-defense
5. Demonstrate basic marksmanship and firearm competency
6. Successfully complete a 98 round live-fire qualification

* Students are responsible for submitting their own ECWP application

This Montana Private Security Program approved course will cover all state required curriculum and shooting qualification to receive your Armed Guard endorsement.
Where: Heated Classroom in South Kalispell & Private Range in Somers, MT
What to bring:
-Eye and Ear Protection
-Firearm(s) you will carry on duty (Pistol and Carbine qualifications available)
-Gun Belt/Holster you will carry on duty
-Body Armor (if applicable)
-100 Rounds of factory ammunition in the correct caliber for your Pistol (50 Rounds for each additional pistol you intend to qualify with)
-Notebook and something to write with
-Water
-Snacks
-Appropriate clothing and footwear for the shooting range (no open-toe shoes or v-neck shirts)
