What is the Security Guard Summit?
In partnership with Monarch Resilience Group, Flathead Firearm Handling is thrilled to offer this 2-day seminar which fulfills Montana Private Security Program’s 16-hour training requirement and is jam packed with relevant and timely curriculum for private security working armed and unarmed contracts in the state of Montana. We will have guest instructors to cover a wide variety of topics including but not limited to:
-Role and Function of the Security Guard
-Interaction and Cooperation with Law Enforcement
-Legal Use of Force and Aftermath
-Emergency Procedures
-Active Violent Intruder Response
-Situational Awareness
-De-Escalation
-Post Incident Response
-Reporting and Report Writing
-Radio Communication and best practices
-Recognizing Armed Individuals
Who Should Attend?
-MT Licensed ARMED Guards seeking annual renewal that work with Monarch Resilience Group
-MT Licensed UNARMED Guards seeking annual renewal and currently working with Monarch Resilience Group
-Individuals looking to apply for their MT UNARMED Guard License and interested in working with Monarch Resilience Group
-Individuals looking to apply for their MT ARMED Guard License and interested in working with Monarch Resilience Group
Will this be offered multiple times per year?
-This is currently only being offered once a year do to the logistics.
Is there any incentive for me to sign up?
-Not only will this training weekend better equip you to perform your duties and stay as safe as possible, it also fulfills your required annual training hours.
-If that’s not enough, there’s also $100.00 early registration discount that expires in November.
-Limited seats available
What about the Shooting Qualification for ARMED Guards?
We will have a range training and qualification on Monday, March 8th from 10am-2pm.
This will be an additional $100 and only available to those attending the weekend Summit
